THE DESIGN
Brutalist and Japanese-editorial: monochrome, hairline rules, oversized type, full-bleed imagery, built to be held in one hand. Discover a catalogue, check off what you have visited, or file a building you stumbled onto with architect and year left optional.
THE BUILD
Two decisions I am proud of. A deterministic generative SVG draws a monochrome composition whenever a photo fails, so a dead or offline image never breaks the layout. And in-browser canvas downscaling lets user photos fit inside local storage without a backend.
